Job Title: ASIC Chip Design Lead 
Full-time / Contract W2 with Benefits + Bonus
Location: Remote in US only


About the Team:
Join the growing Encore Semi Front-End Development team to design and verify ASICs and SoCs targeting next generation applications.  Building on your background of microarchitecture, RTL coding and IP Integration. As a Chip Lead you will give direction to other engineers and participate in developing state-of-the-art features at the block and full-chip level.

Responsibilities:
• Translate specifications and requirements into RTL 
• Analyze design through simulations
• Integrate block level code and IP into chip level environment
• Resolve code synthesis issues and Constraints generation 
• Create design documentation
• Evaluate Lint, Clock Domain Crossing, synthesis and timing reports

Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in Logic Design and Chip Integration
• Experience with embedded processors and microcontrollers
• RTL coding experience in VHDL and/or Verilog and/or SystemVerilog 
• Experience with DSP fundamentals and FPGA implementation
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
• Experience with microchip EDA tools and IC design flows from Synopsys 
• Experience with latest industry IC design techniques, methodologies, and advanced technology nodes below 28 nm 
• Experience with SystemVerilog 
• Experience with interfaces: ADC/DACs, SERDES, PCIe, JTAG, DDR4
• Experience with generating scripts (Perl, Tcl, Python) 
• US Citizen 
• Strong preference for locating in Minnesota 

Education Requirements:

• Preferred: MSEE or equivalent
