Responsibilities






We are seeking a mission-focused Cloud Administrator to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in Washington D.C.!

The Cloud Administrator will support cloud systems engineering, administration, and maintenance for a high visibility Executive Branch customer.Β  Your focus will be on leveraging Ansible to automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment in addition to providing ongoing systems administration, operations, and sustainment support. Β

This role is hybrid and requires 2 days a week on-site in Washington, DC.

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, operations, and sustainment of the cloud environment.

  • Implement automations that replace time-consuming, error-prone, manual repetitive configuration and provisioning activities using infrastructure as code solutions such as Ansible, Terraform, and/or custom scripts.

  • Support Ansible playbook design, role development, and testing in non-production environments, as well as migration to production networks.

  • Create and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate the installation, deployment, and configuration of cloud resources; maintain source code in the GIT repository.

  • Manage and monitor Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, hardware failures, network issues, and performance bottlenecks.









Qualifications






  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent degree (or additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree).
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher
  • Strong proficiency in Red Hat Linux system administration

  • Experience using Ansible for automated provisioning, configuration management, and deployment of cloud workloads (Azure environment preferred)

  • Experience creating Ansible playbooks for automated configuration of Azure resources

  • Experience with scripting technologies (e.g., Python, YAML, Bash) for automation

  • Understanding of cloud computing technologies & services with demonstrated hands-on experience in performing systems administration activities in cloud environments.

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure including networking, storage, and security in classified environments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Certification
