We have a Basic Machine Operator / Hand Assembly opening in our production departments at our Monticello, Indiana facility. This person will work with smaller low maintenance machines to produce archery arrows.

The starting wage is $15.00 per hour and will work a 4-day / 10-hour workweek (Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm).

Your Job: As a Basic Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining an arrow buffing machine and doing hand assembly work with various arrows and arrow accessories to ensure a quality product.

What you will be doing:

  • Set-up, run and maintain equipment.
  • Inspecting items for defects while completing work orders to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Completing hourly buyoffs and work order document information.
  • Performing visual inspections of product.
  • Tracking products used for inventory purposes.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

What you need to be successful:

  • A track record of dependability and punctuality. Good attendance is a must.
  • Basic understanding of Math.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods. (10 hours a day)
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Good hand/eye coordination and the ability to work quickly.
  • Able to read, write, and understand work instructions in English.
