Job Summary:Β
The CSUSB Basic Needs & Student Support serves as a one-stop wellness hub with two service area locations where students can access basic needs services, complete basic needs intake, and connect to housing, food, financial, and other essential resources both on and off-campus. We serves as a wellness hub where students can meet with a Wellness Ambassador to receive personalized support for their basic needs.

Programming in the BNs & Student Support center will address basic needs intake sessions, educational literacy, CalFresh application assistance, swipe out assistance, BNs grant request assistance, housing intake, trauma-informed and financial literacy and much more. Our students' well-being impacts their basic needs being addressed, sense of belonging, persistence, graduation rate, and overall experience. This is an exciting time to be a part of the Basic Needs & Student Support Staff and an opportunity to join a team committed to supporting students in the university's Basic Needs & Student Support Center.

Represent a group of positive, enthusiastic and well-informed representatives of the student body who are interested supporting the daily operation of the Basic Needs & Student Support Center.

Compensation and Benefits:Β
Student Employment Anticipated Hiring Range: $16.00 per hour.Β
The compensation offered will consider internal equity and experience among other factors.Β
Position Information:Β
Work status: Part-Time, Temporary, SeasonalΒ
Academic year available hours: Monday through Friday (8:00 am β 5:00 pm).Β
Summer available hours: Monday through Thursday (7:00 am - 5:30 pm).Β
This is an 'On-Campus Only' position. Student Employees are not eligible to telecommute at any time.Β
As of January 1, 2022, the CSU Out-of-State Employment Policy prohibits the hiring of employees to perform CSU-related work outside the state of California.Β
