Job Description

You will produce new business with two of ServiceNow's largest existing accounts within our Enterprise Strategic Technology, West team. You will oversee executive relationship management for assigned accounts and lead virtual teams in supporting our most esteemed clients (extended account team includes Solution Consulting, Support, Professional Services, Customer Outcomes, Renewals, Partner & Channels, and 7+ Solution-Specific Sales Executives and more).

What you get to do in this role:

  • Provide strategic leadership to two Enterprise Strategic Technology clients based in Bay Area, CA
  • Be the relationship manager between customers and ServiceNow
  • Work with the greater ServiceNow solution teams to develop a ServiceNow solution based on the customer's strategic outcomes
  • Manage all Executive relationships between ServiceNow and assigned clients
  • Oversee worldwide development of assigned accounts, including development and deployment of worldwide resources
  • Build trust and deep multi-tiered relationships through assigned clients' organization, from project/IT teams to CxO level
  • Develop a clear roadmap and building capabilities across our clients and ServiceNow teams to promote an outstanding customer experience
  • Achieve financial targets set out for the assigned clients, including Licenses, Renewals and Professional Services

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Current location in California, United States (Bay Area preferred)
  • Sales experience in large, global software companies (2,000+ employees); skilled at operating in a matrixed sales environment. 
  • A consistent track record of meeting and exceeding Enterprise quotas (within software sales organizations)
  • 10 years experience in Account Executive roles aligning account strategies to revenue opportunities
  • 5+ years experience as a Client Director, Account Director, Key Account Manager, or equivalent strategic role with validated multi-million-dollar deal experience and executive relationships
  • 4+ years experience aligned to Strategic Technology industry (within software sales organizations)
  • Previous sales experience in IT Service Management, HR, Security Operations, Customer Service and IT Operations Management (within software sales organizations)
  • Experience quarterbacking a large virtual account team
  • Ability to understand broad, macro-level business IT needs for a prospective client
  • A winning, can do attitude, strong work ethic, humility, excellent team building, communication and listening skills  
  • Travel up to 40% (depending on geography/region)

FD21

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $163,920 - $270,480, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location, including locations in California outside of the Bay Area.
