Overview:


Rectorseal seeks a sales professional with experience selling into the electrical distribution channel and a proven track record of successfully managing sales teams.Β Β  The Director of Sales is responsible for all sales aspects, including managing the sales team and the go-to-market approach for serving electrical customers. This opportunity will be remotely based, but lead teams will be based at our PSP Products facility in Virginia and Florida. Β 


RectorSeal manufactures and distributes various chemical and mechanical products for the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Sets the sales strategy for the PSP Products brand of products, including deciding on the best approach to serving electrical distributors and contractors. This strategy would include staffing levels, usage of third-party manufacturer reps, rebate levels, promotions, terms, samples,Β and other go-to-market levers.

  • Supports, coaches, and develops the sales team, including implementing appropriate sales compensation plans

  • Identifies product needs for customers and communicates needs to product marketing

  • Ensures that PSP products are carried across electrical distribution, especially for applications support generators and EV car charging

  • Identifies, staffs, attends, and follow-ups with relevant industry trade shows to drive new business

  • Commercializes PSP Products for usage in the utility segment

  • Become subject matter expert on surge protection & voltage monitoring products

  • Directly develops corporate accounts

  • Travel 50-75% of the time


Note that PSP Products will be integrated into RectorSeal more fully over the next year. Assuming role success, the Director of Salesβ€”PSP will evolve to drive RectorSeal’s overall approach to selling to electrical contractors and distributors.


Minimum Requirements:



  • Ten years of sales experience, preferably in the Electrical channel

  • Five years of sales management experience


Skills/Competencies:



  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of an organization, including executives and C-suite

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a high-performing sales team

Compensation: RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.


Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
