Engineering Project Manager – HYBRID Description

Our client in the engineering and design industry is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to join their team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This hybrid role allows for remote work up to ~two days per week, depending on project needs. As an individual contributor, you will lead project teams, manage timelines, and act as the primary client contact. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background and project management experience, including creative scoping and timeline development. To be successful, you must be comfortable in a client-facing role and have advanced organizational skills, long-term vision, and strong business acumen. Engineering Project Manager – HYBRID Responsibilities

β€’ Β  Β Lead technical projects, ensuring seamless client communication and team alignment
β€’ Β  Β Manage scoping, budgeting, and timelines for diverse engineering projects
β€’ Β  Β Manage communication and apply a risk-based approach to product development
β€’ Β  Β Collaborate with technical leads to provide overall project leadership and guidance
β€’ Β  Β Write and present project proposals, focusing on strategy, cost, and timelines
β€’ Β  Β Utilize project management software to track progress and maintain project timelines
β€’ Β  Β Build and nurture client relationships to identify future business opportunities
β€’ Β  Β Align project goals & future opportunities with industry trends and company capabilities
β€’ Β  Β Identify and address roadblocks, inefficiencies, and risks to ensure project success
β€’ Β  Β Facilitate communication to align team and client expectations throughout projects
β€’ Β  Β Approach project planning with a holistic, long-term perspective to ensure sustainable success

Engineering Project Manager – HYBRID Qualifications

β€’ Β  Β Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required (Ex: ME, EE, Industrial, Software…)
β€’ Β  Β 3+ years of project management experience in an engineering environment is required
β€’ Β  Β Experienced using project management software & tools (Ex: Jira) is required
β€’ Β  Β Ability to work on-site ~three days per week is required
