ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Treasure, you'll be doing everything from building delightful user interfaces and creating client infrastructure on the front-end, to creating APIs, data pipelines and services that bridge the gap between the blockchain, games, and the experience for our users/players and game developers alike. You'll tackle complex technical problems across the Treasure platform, marketplace, Magicswap (an automated market maker tailored made for player-driven economies and gaming on the blockchain), game developer infrastructure, and other products changing the face of gaming powered by the blockchain.Β If you're someone who is excited by an opportunity and challenge like this, please apply!

Responsibilities

  • Build out features for new and exciting products. You will own and develop user-facing products and features on our web platforms, including the Treasure platform, marketplace, Magicswap (automated market maker), game developer infrastructure, Bridgeworld (our ecosystem metagame), and more!

  • Collaborate with the product, engineering and design team across all aspects of the product development lifecycle, including requirements and design.

  • Interfacing with users: You will interface directly with end-users, players, and game developers building atop Treasure – supporting them and collecting feedback to inform the direction of the product.

  • Work cross-functionality with other teams across product, marketing, business development, and the founders to get products built, shipped, and improved upon.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working experience as a Software Engineer (ideally across the stack);

  • Experience with modern React, Typescript, and frameworks like Next.js and Remix (understands modern SSR concepts);

  • Experiencing working with web3 libraries (wagmi, ethers.js) and GraphQL;

  • Writes organized and clean code that is conducive to collaboration;

  • Located in North America or have a timezone overlap of at least 4 hours;

  • Possesses great communication skills for varying levels of technically proficient audiences; and

  • Be really passionate about gaming and/or web3.

Nice to Have

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with blockchain and crypto (ideally within the Ethereum ecosystem).

  • You've worked with Solidity, Golang, Geth, and/or Hardhat.

  • Experience working in the gaming industry.

  • Prior knowledge of Treasure; and

  • Experience working with a distributed and global team.
