Human Resources Consultant
Overview:
Supports various Human Resource functions; specifically, talent acquisition, retention and relationship building, handle company human resource requests/inquiries as directed by CEO, VP or Production Team Supervisor, and company-wide special projects. This role reports directly to the Vice President.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
TALENT ACQUISITIONS, RETENTION AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
β’ Effectively identify and qualify candidates from multiple resources, to fill temporary, contractual temp to direct hire and direct hire positions.
β’ Engage in sourcing activities to include, but not limited to: market research, identifying candidate sources, recruiting calls and attending virtual or in-person networking events.
β’ Support the team to build a candidate pipeline by sourcing passive and active candidates for immediate and future hiring needs.
β’ Post job openings on multiple resources and proactively maintain and refresh postings.
β’ Qualify candidates by conducting phone and in-person interviews, assessments, references, and background checks.
β’ Manage or be the lead HR Consultant on various corporate or government contracts as assigned.
β’ Support efforts to develop and implement a university recruiting program by building relationships with career centers and scheduling on-campus interviews with students and alumni to support recruitment efforts.
β’ Support internal and external employee engagement through COVID status and beyond
β’ Enter job orders, client candidate information and ongoing communication regarding clients and candidates into the UltraStaff database system.
HUMAN RESOURCES
β’ Research employee HR policies/issues utilizing SHRM, American Staffing Association and/or Mineral portals.
Key Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs or Associates degree in HR or experience in a related field.
β’ A minimum of 5 years professional experience sourcing and qualifying top talent for multiple job openings across various industries.
β’ Previous teamwork experience in corporate settings.
β’ Ability to thrive under pressure in a results-driven environment and meet goals, while continuously providing exceptional service to candidates and clients.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively and directly with clients, candidates and staff both verbally and in writing.
β’ Must have strong initiative, analytical skills and the ability to develop creative solutions.
β’ Ability to evaluate and read people to effectively place them in the right positions.
β’ Outstanding organization skills and follow through to successfully manage and complete multiple priorities/projects on daily basis.
β’ Ability to develop and maintain business relationships by building creditability and trust.
β’ Technical savvy to find qualified candidates through research techniques including, social media, internet sourcing and staffing tools.
β’ Driven towards results and success while demonstrating a strong commitment to a team environment.
β’ Strong time management skills
β’ Sound judgement in decision-making and ability escalate issues requiring supervisory input.
β’ Demonstrated ability to complete tasks from initial assignment to final results.
