Job Description

Negotiates, structures, underwrites, and closes equity and debt investments that utilize Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) programs in market areas serviced by U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance. Manages relationships with customers and internal Production and/or Syndications Business Development Officers in negotiating terms of investment. Engages third party professionals (attorneys, accountants, etc.) in coordinating the drafting, collection, and review of documents and financial projections necessary to close the investments. Coordinates with portfolio managers in preparing and funding initial closing funds and transition investment to the portfolio management and asset/fund management departments for ongoing maintenance and management. Participates in the establishment of policies and procedures necessary for accomplishing the group's tasks.

Basic Qualifications
- Typically Bachelor's degree and six or more years of related experience
OR
- MBA/JD with three or more years of directly related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Thorough understanding of tax credit investment management and knowledge of regulatory and company risk policies
- Strong knowledge of construction finance, legal documentation and requirements, real estate property management, and accounting
- General real estate development and/or property management background preferred
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $108,375.00 - $127,500.00 - $140,250.00
