IMPACT: In this pivotal role, you will not only manage projects but also help shape the company's project management practice and strengthen client relationships.

A Day in the Life:

• Lead end-to-end project management for Oracle implementations, upgrades, and optimizations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and communication throughout the project lifecycle.


• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, risk management strategies, and reporting structures.


• Efficiently allocate resources, including project teams, budgets, to ensure project success.


• Coordinate with technical and functional teams to ensure project objectives are met and provide guidance and support as needed.


• Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with client expectations through regular reviews and feedback sessions.


• Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues or deviations.


• Provide regular project updates to senior leadership, including status reports, progress metrics, and performance evaluations.


• Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices within the organization.


• Travel to clients on a milestone basis

IDEAL PROFILE:

• 
  
  10+ years of formal IT project management experience, specifically with Oracle applications (EBS & Cloud implementations, upgrades, rollouts, etc.), including 5+ recent years working with an IT Professional Services firm supporting customer engagements.
  
  


• 
  
  Must have at least two Oracle Cloud projects completed as a PM while working for an IT services company.
  
  


• Proven track record of managing complex projects with cross-functional teams at manufacturing, retail, and/or financial services clients. 


• 
  
  Strong understanding of Oracle technologies and related business processes.
  
  


• Knowledge of project management methodologies and change management processes. 


• Possesses a continual improvement mindset and a high level of fortitude to drive projects to completion.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.


• Proficiency in utilizing project tracking software, as well as the Microsoft Office / 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel, Visio, etc.).


• 
  LOCATION: Reside in the eastern or central time zone and able to travel for project milestones.


• 
  EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 
  CERTIFICATION: PMP or similar certification preferred.


• 
  WORK AUTHORIZATION: US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)
