Summary:


The Project Manager II is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while partnering with key stakeholders to ensure timelines and deliveries of projects are executed flawlessly. The Project Manager II ensures that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, and meet the quality standards of the organization. Initially, the Project Manager II will serve as a project manager for an ongoing ERP implementation project, and upon the completion of this effort will be assigned to deliver strategic enterprise IT projects. This role will report into Powin’s IT Program Management Office.


Responsibilities:



  • Communicate limitations clearly, manage expectations proactively, and establish a working plan with our vendors and our internal team to drive desired outcomes

  • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, discuss issues, and make decisions; escalating project issues as needed

  • Responsible for actively driving toward successful project outcomes, on time, and on budget

  • Serve as a conduit between process design and technical needs of the project

  • Manage and monitor vendor outcomes as related to implementation schedule, cost, and scope

  • Facilitate effective team dynamics among the project team for effective delivery of a high-quality project experience

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules across all phases of the project

  • Manage vendor development sprints and defect triage process

  • Work closely with the project team on the preparation of key reports, develop, maintain required tracking and reporting

  • Control, collect, and archive project documentation (contracts, invoices, scope changes, etc..) to ensure proper management of project artifacts, vendor relationships and change order process

  • Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies based on lessons learned

  • Collaborate with Project Management Office on shared outcomes, template development, and process improvement

  • Performs other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • 4-7 years related work experience in a project management role delivering a variety of projects

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

  • Demonstrated ability to jump into a critical project mid-stream and deliver value quickly

  • Strong customer and client service skills, including ability to effectively engage and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally verbally and in writing

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ability to work with a sense of urgency and manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently

  • Ability to act quickly and work well under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Ability to think outside the box when faced with challenges

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP


Preferred Qualifications:



  • PMP, ProSci, or an equivalent certification

  • NetSuite Certification

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall

  • Knowledge of change management methodologies such as ADKAR, Lewin, Kotter, PDCA

Compensation for this position is commensurate with location, experience and relevant skills.Ҁ‹ The national Average Base Salary Range is Ҁ‹$95,000-$128,000. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and personal performance.
