What You'll Do:

  • Provide insights and recommendations on web elements that enhance usability and aesthetic appeal.
  • Create guidelines that the design team can leverage to ensure consistency and quality across all web projects.
  • Develop and document web standards and best practices for design implementation.
  • Develop and maintain web content, ensuring alignment with best practices for accessibility and usability.
  • Work with design teams using Figma to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
  • Utilize HTML, XML, CSS, jQuery, Javascript, Python, JSON, xAPI and other relevant languages to create dynamic, responsive web experiences.
  • Implement AI-driven solutions to enhance the design process and improve user interactions.
  • Optimize content for performance and ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and design.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience as a designer developer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX projects and demonstrating your design process and outcomes.
  • Back-End Technologies: Proficiency in JSON, xAPI, Python, Javascript, jQuery, RESTful APIs, and other back-end framework.
  • Front-End Development: Strong skills in HTML/XML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or similar), along with experience in Figma for design collaboration.
  • Familiarity with MadCap Flare, Central, and Xyleme LCMS/LRS is a plus.
  • Experience in creating or contributing to learning design systems.
  • Experience presenting design concepts to stakeholders and incorporating their feedback into final designs.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies that integrate into design workflows.
  • Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in web development, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in web development, UX/UI design, or front-end technologies (e.g., Google UX Design Certificate, Adobe Certified Expert).
  • 5-8 years of experience in back-end development with JavaScript (Node.js) and API development.
  • 5-8 years of experience in front-end development using CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and Figma.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in software development.

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

$38.46 - $56.25
