Profile: Medical Billing/ Call Center Rep (Remote Job)
Interview Process\: 1 Telephonic / Video Interview.
Salary \: $11/hrย
Duration \:ย 18 months position ( with benefits) with a 40hrs / week schedule ideally from Mon- Fri.ย
Roles & Responsibilities:
โขReceive inbound phone calls from our prescribers and members
โขUtilizing multiple software systems to create Prescription cases and determine coverage, determination and appeals process
โขGood written and verbal communication skills
โขThe ability to display soft skills while moving the call forward
โขMeeting or exceeding government mandated timelines
โขComplying with turnaround time, productivity, and quality standardsย
โขConveying resolution to beneficiary or provider via direct communication and professional correspondence
โขAcquiring and maintaining basic knowledge of relevant and changing Clients guidance
โขResearch, troubleshoot and resolve client application discrepancies using computer system
โขMeet daily tasks through various forms and mediums of communication โ written, verbal and/or by phone
Requirements
โขPrior call center experience preferably with a multi-screen setup for easier navigation of multiple applications
โขAvailability for remote workspace audits (via webcam or phonecam) Inspection time less than 5 min
โขHighspeed and reliable Internet connectionย
โขQuiet and focused work environment
Required Qualifications\:ย
โขAbility to effectively communicate with members and prescribers while managing multiple software systems
โขAccountable and results drivenย
โขCritical thinker/problem solver
โขReceptive to constructive feedback and flexible in adapting to changeย
โขAbility to effectively plan, prioritize, and organize time and workloadย
โขAbility to execute successfully in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced, highly-regulated environmentย
โขProficient in navigation of multiple computer applicationsย
โขProficient use of keyboard, mouse and ability to navigate 2 workstation monitors
โขAble to multi task efficiently in order to complete each call within the AHT targets designated by the Client
โขAbility to type more than 30 WPM
Preferred Qualifications:ย
โขAt least two years of general business experience that includes problem resolution, business writing, quality improvement and customer serviceย
โขSix months of PBM/pharmaceutical related work strongly desiredย
โข1+ years of call center experience
โข1+ years of healthcare background
โขTeam player with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
โขExposure to business domain is an added advantage
โขOrganizational skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up promptly
โขAbility to work a flexible work schedule
Education:
โขHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
โขBachelorโs degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferredย
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
