Position Overview:Β We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Remote Travel Customer Service to join our team at GlobeTrek Consulting. As a Remote Travel Customer Service, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to support clients from anywhere while providing expert guidance and support.
Responsibilities:

Client Support:Β Provide exceptional customer service to clients by promptly responding to inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, and addressing concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Booking Assistance:Β Assist clients with booking flights, hotels, rental cars, tours, and other travel services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all bookings.

Itinerary Management:Β Manage travel itineraries for clients, including making changes to reservations, providing updates on travel plans, and confirming bookings with travel suppliers.

Documentation Support:Β Assist clients with obtaining necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and travel insurance, and provide guidance on requirements and deadlines.

Problem Resolution:Β Handle client complaints, inquiries, and issues effectively and efficiently, working to find satisfactory solutions and ensure a positive customer experience.

Supplier Communication:Β Liaise with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel suppliers to confirm bookings, gather information, and assist in resolving any issues or changes.

Travel Advice:Β Offer expert advice and recommendations to clients on destinations, attractions, activities, and travel options to enhance their travel experience and meet their individual preferences.

Post-Travel Follow-Up:Β Follow up with clients after their trip to gather feedback, address any concerns or issues, and ensure their satisfaction with the overall travel experience.

Administrative Tasks:Β Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, organizing travel documents, and maintaining client records, to support the smooth operation of the customer service department.

Continuous Improvement:Β Actively seek feedback from clients and colleagues, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement in processes, systems, and service delivery to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Proficiency in using customer service software, booking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client inquiries, bookings, and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to support client needs and time zone differences.
