Cool, because we’re looking for a Designer like that to join our creative studio at SimpsonScarborough.




Duties / Responsibilities:



  • Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, the Designer brings conceptual thinking and original ideas to the brand and campaign work our creative team delivers.



  • You’ll work closely with a talented and growing team, starting with a copywriter partner while collaborating with brand strategists, media planners, research analysts, project managers, and account leaders at SimpsonScarborough, all of whom share your passion for developing effective brand communications that solve problems for our clients.

  • On any given day as a Designer at SimpsonScarborough, you will:

    • Design brand experiences for a wide range of creative products, including media campaigns, social media content, printed materials, environmental branding, and graphics.

    • Support the design production needs of existing brand identities that our team has developed for clients.

    • Infuse brand activation work with infectious creative energy and β€˜off-the-beaten-path’ experiential ideas.

    • Create presentations for the creative team that help sell the underlying idea of a brand or campaign concept to the client and stakeholders.

    • Learn new skills, concepts, programs and features as needed to keep yourself and the creative team as competitive in the industry as we all want to be.

    • Maintain a broad curiosity about culture and the β€˜creative industry’ at large, with a focus in new and emerging media β€” social, video, etc.






Qualifications:



  • A two- or four-year degree in in Graphic Design, Communication, Design, Fine arts, or a related field

  • 1-3 year of experience of relevant design experience in Branding/Digital/Advertising; creating both digital (web + social) and print materials

  • Highly proficient with design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), PowerPoint, and Figma

  • Ability to sketch, visualize and communicate storylines and concepts (animation skills are a plus)

  • A competitive portfolio of creative work (brand/campaign design) with examples of social media content and

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate deviations and changes when appropriate.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.

  • Comfortable collaborating with remote project teams nationwide.
