Your impactΒ 


Teaching Assistants (TAs) play a critical role in teaching ~25-30 learners (as part of a larger class) in Correlation One’s virtual Cybersecurity training program. The TA commitment for our program will be for the duration of 25 weeks.Β 


A day in the lifeΒ 



  • Mandatory Pre-Program TA Onboarding: We will host one live onboarding session - time is TBD.Β 

  • Dates and Times:Β 


    • January 16th - July 8th, 2025

    • Tuesdays, Thursday, & Fridays from 3:30pm - 6:00pm ET



Full-Time TA Responsibilities (15-17 hours per week):



  • Required to participate in all live lectures (during the dates and times provided above), providing helpful and fast responses via Slack, as well as being prepared to host breakout rooms as needed.

  • Provide up to 6 hours of individual office hour sessions for Fellows each week. You may set these hours within our parameters at your availability and convenience.

  • Work with fellow TAs and Lead Instructors on ways to improve the learner experience

  • Host review sessions, lab sessions, or other support mechanisms to ensure the progress and satisfaction of your Fellows.

  • Respond to your fellows’ questions and messages on Slack within 24 hours

  • Attend a week TA meeting with C1 staff members


Part-Time TA Responsibilities (8-10 hours per week):



  • Provide up to 6 hours of individual office hour sessions for Fellows each week. You may set these hours within our parameters at your availability and convenience.

  • Work with fellow TAs and Lead Instructors on ways to improve the learner experience

  • Grade your Fellows’ submissions, providing feedback and ongoing learning support

  • Respond to your fellows’ questions and messages on Slack within 24 hours

  • Attend a week TA meeting with C1 staff members


Your expertiseΒ 





    • One year of professional experience in the Cybersecurity field with a degree or approved credentials; If no related degree, 2+ years of professional experience in the Cybersecurity field

    • Previous teaching or learner support experience, ideally in a remote environment

    • Post-secondary degree or other credentials in Cybersecurity or a related field

    • CompTIA Security+ certification




Where you are



  • This role is remote and can be located anywhere in the United States or Canada that is compatible with the EST time zone. We are headquartered in New York City and have office space in Midtown Manhattan


The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, program budget, experience, education and skill sets.Β
