Job Description: Account Executive
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenΒ Account Executive with a strong background inΒ Salesforce to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving partner sales and revenue growth, building and maintaining strong relationships with our Salesforce partners, and ensuring their success in promoting, selling, and implementing Salesforce's products and services. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, exceptional sales and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Partner Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Salesforce partners, serving as the main point of contact for all partner-related activities.
- Identify and recruit new Salesforce partners by analyzing market trends, conducting research, and attending industry events.
- Ensure partners are aligned with Salesforce's strategic direction and objectives, supporting their success in generating sales and delivering customer satisfaction.
2. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets by proactively driving partner-led sales opportunities, including identifying and qualifying leads, coordinating sales activities, and closing deals in collaboration with partners.
- Develop and execute sales strategies and programs targeted at partner growth, including joint marketing campaigns, training initiatives, and pre- and post-sales support programs.
- Monitor partner performance and sales pipeline, providing regular forecasts and updates to the management team.
3. Product and Industry Knowledge:
- Continuously enhance your knowledge of Salesforce products, services, and industry trends to effectively promote and position our offerings to partners and customers.
- Educate partners on Salesforce's product portfolio, value propositions, and competitive differentiators to enable them to effectively promote and sell our solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive product enhancements, identify opportunities for partner-specific solutions, and provide feedback on market trends and partner requirements.
4. Enablement and Support:
- Train and enable partners on Salesforce's products, services, sales methodologies, and processes to enhance their selling capabilities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to provide partners with necessary resources, such as sales collateral, technical documentation, and pricing information.
- Assist partners in developing business plans, sales strategies, and marketing campaigns to drive growth and maximize their potential as Salesforce partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Partner Account Executive or in a similar role, preferably in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce's products, services, and partner programs.
- A track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in partner-led sales.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other sales enablement tools.
- Availability for occasional travel to attend partner meetings, events, and industry conferences.
