Essential Duties and Responsibilities:ย
The Asset Manager must be a results-driven leader who brings energy and passion in delivering services in line with the growth objectives of the company. Key responsibilities of the Asset Recovery Manager include:ย
- Work with the Tax Director to meet or exceed monthly revenue goals, by driving new business while realizing maximum value from current client base.
- Development of effective and efficient workflow processes using software tools as needed to build on the profitability of the business segment.
- Work to implement and document workflow processes.
- Manage and lead Asset Recovery team ensuring workflow processes are followed and maintained.
- Understand the unclaimed property process including how to perform research and pursue open properties.
- Ability to present to clients in an articulate and professional manner including preparing client facing documentation and corresponding with clients in concise and professional manner.
- Demonstrate a positive, energetic, professional attitude and communication style at all times
- Provide additional support as a subject matter expert for Asset Recovery administration when needed.
- Development of staff to ensure professional communication when dealing with clients or state auditors.ย
- Support the Tax Director in operational strategies.ย
- Take ownership of the business segment financial and staff performanceย
- Create, foster, and sustain avenues for team feedback and improvement to build a culture of trust and performance excellence.ย
Requirements and Skills:ย
- Experience working collaboratively Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Operations and Technology.
- Demonstrated comfort in a hands-on โplayer-coachโ leadership role, with a track record of a consultative approach and cultivating positive relationships with both internal and client team members and leadership.
- Successful track-record of organic growth through a combination of assisting with the development of both new and existing clients, extension into new industries.
- Strong data orientation, promoting the use of data to enhance planning, decision making and communication across the organization.
- Experience leveraging a consultative, data-driven, and ROI focused approach to support long-term client relationships.
- Strong understanding of technologies to enhance product vision, reporting, analytics, forecasting, etc.
- Fluent in the technology behind offered products.
- Empowering leader who creates a collaborative and trust-based environment with team members to set and deliver on objectives.
- Hands-on, roll-up-your sleeves mentality, with ability to manage the day-to-day personally engaging with numbers and details, balanced with the ability to delegate and manage a team appropriately.
- A confident and articulate communicator, capable of inspiring strong collaboration in an organization. Polished written/verbal presentation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strategic yet involved leader, a player-coach with the ability to execute quickly and decisively and be genuinely enthusiastic about finding solutions to complex problems.
Education:
- Bachelorโs degree from a reputable institution.ย
