Position Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the project manager with overseeing our third-party team to handle various order types for properties in the Single-Family Rental departmentβs inventory. This role may occasionally assist project managers with planning, coordinating, and implementing residential renovation projects within the decided-upon budgets, timelines, and scopes.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Routinely review/create reports to ensure work in inventory is handled appropriately and timely by the third-party team.
- Provide timely and accurate updates to relevant stakeholders and team members on project progress or state of inventory.
- May assist with addressing questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Consistently meet or exceed company goals and deadlines.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching as necessary to third-party team.
- Assess performance of vendors for quality assurance purposes.
- Confidently negotiate costs within provided guidelines.
- Manage costs of projects and use discretion during negotiations to meet and exceed project margins for specific clients
- Occasionally assist with sourcing vendors to meet client needs.
- Conduct training of Aspen for vendors and third-party team.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
