We’re currently seeking an Associate Resource Manager to support our Federal team.Β 
This is a full time remote position (must be located in the United States).

Position SummaryΒ 

The Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing the allocation, utilization, and management of resources across various projects within the organization. This includes managing both human and material resources to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects. The role will require collaboration with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure that resource availability aligns with project requirements.

What you'll do

  • Resource Allocation:
    Efficiently allocate human, financial, and material resources to projects based on priority, skills, and availability.

  • Resource Planning:
    Develop and maintain resource plans for projects, ensuring that resource needs are met and any potential shortages are addressed proactively.

  • Project Support:
    Collaborate with project managers to understand resource requirements for projects and help allocate the right resources at the right time.

  • Monitoring Resource Utilization:
    Track resource usage across multiple projects, ensuring efficient deployment and identifying any resource constraints.

  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    Communicate regularly with project teams, department heads, and senior leadership to ensure that resources are used effectively and efficiently.

  • Forecasting and Reporting:
    Provide forecasting reports regarding resource needs, utilization, and any potential shortfalls to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Training and Development:
    Identify skill gaps and assist in the development and training of team members to ensure that resources have the skills necessary to meet project demands.

  • Process Improvement:
    Continuously assess and improve resource management processes to increase efficiency and reduce resource-related risks or bottlenecks.

  • Resource Resolution:
    Handle resource-related conflicts, such as scheduling issues, competing project priorities, and resource allocation disputes.

  • Budget Management:
    Assist in budgeting and cost tracking for resources, ensuring that resources are utilized within budget constraints.

What you'll bring

Β 

EducationΒ 

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Project Management, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Β 

Clearance / SuitabilityΒ 

Ability to obtain a clearance or a Public Trust is preferred, however all clearance levels and non-cleared applicants will also be considered.

Β 

CertificationsΒ 

    • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is preferred.Β 
    • CRMP (Certified Resource Management Professional) is a plus.

Β 

Years of ExperienceΒ 

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in resource management, project management, or a similar role.
    • Experience in managing both personnel resources and physical assets is preferred.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in resource management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Resource Guru, etc.).
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Bonus Points

  • Background in Cybersecurity Governance Standards (e.g. FISMA, FedRAMP, CMMC, SOC, etc. )
