Computer Vision (AI/ML) Engineering Intern

Scout Space Inc. is excited to announce our 2025 internship program! We are seeking candidates in various engineering fields. Please see the below role definitions for these opportunities. All internship opportunities are mainly remote, but may involve in-person opportunities.

Scout is building a new way to see and operate in space: with a new paradigm of data empowering every satellite to make space safer. We are looking for people that bring excitement and energy to our organization, are curious and eager to learn, and want to help drive our programs forward.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing, testing, debugging, deploying, and maintaining computer vision algorithms and hardware for different environments.
• Apply computer vision and machine learning research to solve problems.
• Work closely and collaborate with all engineering personnel.
• Test and validate computer vision code and models, ensuring robustness and reliability. 

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field. 
• Rising seniors or graduate students only. 
• Highly preferred: Demonstrated experience using AI/ML, Computer Vision technologies in a business or project environment.
