Red Ventures is looking for a Contract Web Publisher who will be responsible for uploading, scheduling and publishing editorial content to Bankrate.com.Β 


The Web Publisher will need to translate content into coded HTML, edit and format content, execute a monthly cross-functional team-wide project to market Bankrate products and perform site maintenance tasks to enhance performance and user experience.


We’re looking for someone who is process-oriented and has a close attention to detail. You have experience with website technologies (content management systems and HTML) and workflow tools like Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Asana/Jira. This role requires the ability to meet tight deadlines while working independently to manage multiple publishing projects


Responsibilities:



  • Upload, update, and maintain web pages to be timely and error-free

  • Add formatting, headlines, and hyperlinks to finished content using multiple content management system (CMS) tools and HTML

  • Monitor and update workflow tools (Asana, Google sheets, Jira) daily to ensure that assignments are flowing through the steps properly

  • Work closely with project managers and collaborate with teammates to prioritize daily tasks and projects to ensure high-quality, on-deadline content deliverables to all stakeholders

  • Work with custom HTML, CSS and Javascript


What you need to know:



  • The Web Publisher will be responsible for publishing roughly X articles per day, primarily in WordPress and Storyblok

  • Content will be assigned to the Web Publisher via an Asana board; the Web Publisher will receive email notification when a task has been assigned to them based on the vertical(s) assigned

  • Compensation is $25 per hour

  • The Web Publisher is expected to be available Tuesday-Friday; hours may vary, but expected to work roughly 30 per week


About you



  • U.S. based professionals with some financial designation such as a CFP or CFA, or an extensive and proven track record of personal finance expertise.

  • Passionate about providing accurate financial information to our audience.

  • Able to meet deadlines.

  • Comfortable with varying time commitments based on the availability of content.
