Atlassian is currently seeking a Creative Director to lead all creative efforts within our exciting new Content Studio. The Creative Director role will spearhead the creative direction and development of all content initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to drive engagement, leads, and brand awareness. This role requires a strategic partner, collaborative leader and hybrid set of skills (creative direct, produce, edit, shoot, etc) with a strong understanding of B2B audiences as well as exceptional leadership skills, and a deep passion for storytelling. In this role, you will partner with creative directors, art directors, designers, producers, researchers, and product marketers to develop best-in-class video creative on behalf of the Atlassian brand, ensuring a consistent voice through all touch points. This person should be a strategic and conceptual thinker with a focus on developing production-ready video concepts that can quickly turn into high-impact content.
The ideal candidate will have extensive film production experience inside a Studio setting and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, semi-structured environment. This person must be comfortable guiding internal production teams, PMMs, Executives, external agencies and/or production partners to create compelling content that is a great expression of the Atlassian brand.
Contribute to the strategy and creative direction of all Content Studio creative.
Concept, write and create videos across the Content Studio.
Create concepts that easily translate into production-ready ideas.
Work in tandem with Executive Producer in the Content Studio to creative direct all content coming into and out of the Content Studio.
Manage development of executions that strongly resonate with a range of audiences while maintaining consistency for the brand and products
Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and breaking down complex product narratives into simple, compelling ideas
Provide creative direction, guidance and oversight to creative and production teams within the Content Studio
Create and sustain a culture of excellence as a beloved leader of creatives partnering with producers, program managers, and product marketing managers Inspiring, enabling, and energizing a world-class Content Studio
Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers to serve a global audience
Experience managing and mentoring creative and production teams
Deep experience writing and art directing mainly for video but also mobile, web, OOH and more
Help lead and manage both in-house and external teams in creative strategy, concept development, production and delivery.
Experience across creative expression: traditional, digital (including products), experiential, and ideas that drive earned media
Has a track record of building partnerships with XFN teams
Lead break through, integrated marketing campaigns
Understands diverse cultural, social and business landscapes
Can influence at all levels
Is skilled at communicating effectively amidst ambiguous and/or high-pressure environments
Understands how to work effectively with XFN teams and lead with influence.

β’10+ years experience as a hybrid creative director / producer / shooter focused on film in a tech side internal Content team, creative agency or production company. Preferably with deep experience within a B2B environment.
β’Β Deep experience developing end-to-end film content and and managing consumer marketing projects in a data-driven, integrated marketing environment
β’Β Experience in a multitude of creative disciplines, including product, film, OOH and events
β’Β Exceptional leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
β’Β Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
β’Β Experience across creative expression: traditional, digital (including products), experiential with ideas that drive earned media

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $168,100 - $224,100
Zone B: $151,300 - $201,700
Zone C: $139,500 - $186,000
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
