The Director of External Financial Reporting performs a significant role within the Company, charged with oversight of the Companyβs public filings with the SEC as well as reporting to the Federal Reserve. This position will direct a team and work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Chief Legal Officer and disclosure counsel to ensure timely, accurate and fulsome disclosure in quarterly SEC filings. This individual will oversee the timely and accurate reporting of the bank call report (FFIEC 041), the FR Y-9C and FR Y-9LP. The Director of External Financial Reporting will be a strategic thinker, well-versed in SEC/regulatory reporting requirements, and be capable of managing both internal staff and external resources to ensure proper reporting, planning and execution. The individual will create functional strategies and specific objectives and develops policies and procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Compliance with all regulations and training requirements will be paramount in this role, ensuring the Company meets and exceeds all necessary standards.
