We are currently seeking a business development leader to help us grow market share for Artemetrx, the leading drug cost management platform for health plans and plan sponsors. This position requires a candidate with a robust understanding of pharmacy operations for health plans and the ability to translate software features into relatable value propositions for potential buyers. A proven track record of growing technology or pharmacy-related businesses is critical for the right candidate.


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Drive Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, expansion of existing accounts, and strategic partnerships. Develop and implement initiatives to increase sales pipeline and conversion rates.

  • Go-to-Market Planning: Continuously improve sales strategies, including product bundling, pricing, positioning to align our software and related services with the needs of the market.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with business goals. Identify new market opportunities and revenue streams.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with executive team, marketing, product, and client success teams to align sales efforts with overall PSG/Artemetrx strategies.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team

Qualifications



  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience, including pharmacy-related business development, is required. Strong preference for candidates who have worked within pharmacy or underwriting/actuary departments within a Blues organization.

  • Proven sales experience, with a proven track record of quantifiable success required.

  • Strongly preferred experience working in or supporting actuary/underwriting within a health plan.

  • Experience selling SaaS applications or healthcare technology-related products strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and discipline to multitask and prioritize projects to meet scheduled deadlines.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

The national average salary for this role is $125k to $200k in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
