Β· Provides non-emergent patient care transfers Β· Reports, verbally and in writing, observations and medical care of the patient. Provides accurate medical documentation of all emergency medical treatment provided. Β· May be assigned various administrative and/or hospital duties which may include, but is not limited to: inventory and ordering supplies, squad readiness checks/testingβs and inventories; verifying that ambulance and its contents are in proper working condition; maintain familiarity with specialized equipment, etc. Β· Participates in Quality Assurance/Quality Initiative processes by properly reviewing patient care reports as set forth by department standards. Β· Assists in providing assistance in the hospital emergency department Β· Operates at level of certification as allowed by protocol with medical director approval (EMT/Paramedic). Β· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. |

Β· Completes all annual education and competency requirements within the calendar year. Β· Is knowledgeable of hospital and department compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse. Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of hospital administrative staff.
