Experienced Healthcare Claims Processor

Our core business is helping our clients reduce costs and increase productivity by providing efficient document imaging, data validation, adjudication and on demand retrieval of documents and data.

We are looking for Experienced Claims Processors to join our rapidly growing team in Tampa. Experience is required for this position.

This is a fully remote position. 

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing medical claims in compliance with payer requirements and internal policies.

Senior Level & Claims Processor responsibilities with the addition of the below:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory requirements related to claims processing.


• Perform claims audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.


• Assist in the development and implementation of claims processing procedures and workflows.


• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.


• Provide backup support and cross-training to other team members as needed.


• Train new claims processors on systems and processes


• Coding Specialist - Develop expertise in medical classification codes


• Consistent production & quality >95%

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• Preference for minimum of two-year experience working closely with healthcare claims or in a claims processing/adjudication environment

Technical Skills / Qualifications:

• Understanding of health claims processing/adjudication


• Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical computation routines


• Medical terminology strongly preferred


• Understanding of ICD-9 & ICD-10


• Basic MS office computer skills


• Ability to work independently or within a team


• Time management skills


• Written and verbal communication skills


• Attention to detail


• Must be able to demonstrate sound decision-making skills

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience.
