.NET Software Engineer Contract - US Remote Opportunity(Contractor)

• Design and develop web solutions as needed in a variety of languages, such as C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, and Oracle.
• Design and develop new frameworks, patterns and modules that will integrate industry standard technologies with existing legacy systems.
• Develop unit tests to integrate into automated testing platform, as well as be an active participant in the code review process.
• Be an active participant in documenting code, processes, and procedures of the development team and recommend process improvements where observed.
• Engage with a broad range of Business and Technology colleagues in order to analyze functional and technical specifications and decompose them into testable units of work
• Clearly communicate individual and team progress/challenges regularly.

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or related field 
• 7+ years of experience with C#, ASP.Net and the .NET Framework
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases – PL/SQL preferred
• Knowledge of core web technologies – HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS
• Must have demonstrated experience using ASP.NET MVC and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Must have experience using industry best practice logging and error handling frameworks.
• Experience working with and developing centralized configuration frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger is a plus.
• Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations

•  BS or MS in a related field
•  Minimum of 7 years of overall professional development experience

This is a contract role for 9-12 months.
