Job Description Summary

The Project Manager - Ultrasound Digital Solutions is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the successful completion of IT/Software projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all business requirements. They will lead cross-functional teams, manage project scope, mitigate risks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. They directly impact clinical department operations and are thus responsible for strict planning and efficient execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget estimations
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
  • Effectively manage correspondence, provide timely updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff as appropriate
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, business owners, and technical teams
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Foster collaboration and communication within the team, addressing conflicts effectively
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and identify training needs
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of how the ViewPoint software is utilized, deployed, and implemented
  • Proven understanding of key business drivers
  • Good project management discernment along with the ability and initiative to propose different solutions outside of current
  • Other duties/responsibilities as required to successfully complete the project process

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree completion or equivalency
  • 5+ year’s experience in a Commercial Ultrasound-related role (i.e., Project Management, Clinical Applications, Technical Services, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences
  • Understanding of business objectives and how IT projects align with organizational strategies
  • Knowledge of relevant technologies depending on the project (e.g., cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide teams towards project goals
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, software development methodologies, and project management tools.
  • Proven experience in project planning, execution, and closure using industry best practices
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills to manage disagreements effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Proven experience with Office 365

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work (Pacific Time Zone hours) regardless of home location.
  • Desire and motivation to be a leader among leaders
  • Experience managing implementations across healthcare enterprise systems, healthcare organizations, healthcare practices, etc.
  • Proven history of process improvement/documentation and Project Management team strategy development
  • Proficient with Smartsheet
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $98,880.00-$148,320.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
