We are seeking a mid-level Quality Assurance Analyst with automation experience.









Responsibilities






  • Analyze functional requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to develop, design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. Β 
  • Create, maintain, and execute automated scripts for testing of web-based applications based upon design specifications and requirements.
  • Β Create test harnesses and other automated tools and scripts for internal use
  • Β Interface with QA team members, developers and business analysts for design and issue verification.
  • Β Peer review test plans and test cases.
  • Β Provide test result reports and metrics
  • Β Perform certification testing for third party products.
  • Β Restore and upgrade databases and websites in QA environment as needed for testing.
  • Β Write and review install instructions for scripts and software installations








Qualifications






  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Β Knowledge of QA testing concepts and methodologiesΒ 
  • Β Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Scrum methodologyΒ 
  • Β 3-5 years of experience with automation tools (i.e QTP/UFT or Selenium). This includes developing automation scripts and test harnesses to test GUI, API, and Web Services.Β 
  • Β Experience working with automation in ASP.Net applications.Β 
  • Β Experience with API Testing tools (i.e. Postman , SOAPUI )
  • Β Familiarity with using configuration management and bug tracking software (i.e. JIRA) products preferred
  • Β Advanced knowledge of scripting in languages such as C#, Java, VB Script, JavaScript, ANT, Python, Bash, or Maven is a plus
  • Β Ability to manage time, multi-task, and change priorities.
  • Β Knowledge of federal procurement process is desired
  • Β Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

This is a contract role for 9-12 months.
