Juki is a leading provider of SMT assembly solutions for the electronics industry worldwide. Our clients are often rooted in EMS: electronics manufacturing services, automotive, industrial and consumer electronics. We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to oversee and expand our sales operation in the Western regions of the U.S. and Canada. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing and coaching sales representatives, and building strong relationships with key customers and partners. You will also work closely with our technical teams to ensure we deliver high-quality products and services that meet our customers' needs and expectations.


Job Purpose:

Β 

  • Manage all aspects of the sale of Juki product lines in the Western region of the US, Western Canada.Β 
  • Collaborate with assigned independent sales rep companies to maximize sales in assigned territory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Β 

  • Maintain and expand the customer base by supporting independent sales reps.
  • Build and maintain rapport with key customers.
  • Identify new customer opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Applications to improve products and solve customers' application issues.
  • Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
  • Coordinate with various internal departments, including Finance and Operations, to ensure the best customer experience.
  • Update CRM as necessary to ensure that customer data is accurate.

Β Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or technical related area
  • Excellent Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills (includes the creation of presentations as well as delivery of presentations to potential customers)
  • Sales experienceΒ 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable
  • Positive and enthusiastic
  • CRM experience


Additional Requirements (Experience in electronics manufacturing of Surface Mount Technology printed circuit board assemblies):


  • 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically in the production of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies.
  • In-depth knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with quality control and assurance procedures specific to SMT PCB assemblies.
  • Experience in working with SMT component suppliers and understanding component selection and sourcing processes.
  • Understanding of IPC standards related to SMT assembly and familiarity with industry trends and advancements in SMT technology.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling SMT assembly solutions or related products/services to customers in the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the technical aspects of SMT assembly processes and equipment to customers.
  • Strong network and existing relationships within the electronics manufacturing industry, specifically with OEMs, EMS providers, or contract manufacturers.
