Manager Revenue Accounting
Job Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will focus on accounting matters for the Company and is a critical team player in the overall success of the finance and accounting team. The qualified candidate will interact with finance/accounting and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze revenue cycle data, perform trend analysis and support revenue recognition
  • Work closely with billing, collection, and other accounting professionals
  • Prepare for financial audits by ensuring procedural compliance in revenue reporting and collections
  • Maintain and review procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Track key accounting and reporting issues for consideration
  • Prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statement flux analysis
  • Journal entry preparation and review
  • Provide coaching and guidance to staff
  • Assist with ad-hoc assignments, special projects


Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Big 4 accounting firm and/or corporate accounting experience; public company experience a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years of related work experience
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with internal control design and implementation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle data analysis and interpretation.
  • Proficiency in accounting, data analysis, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software like Workday
