Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director, Healthcare to lead our healthcare practice. This individual will be responsible for overseeing client relationships, developing and executing integrated PR strategies, and leading a team of PR professionals. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in healthcare communications, with a strong track record of success in a public relations agency setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and implement strategic PR and communications plans for healthcare clients, aligning with their business objectives.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of PR professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and professional growth of team members.
    • Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and contributing to new business pitches.
  • Client Management:
    • Oversee the planning and execution of integrated PR campaigns, including media relations, thought leadership, and content creation.
    • Ensure all client deliverables are met with excellence, on time, and within budget.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to provide proactive insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Collaboration & Innovation:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams within the agency to deliver cohesive and innovative communication solutions.
    • Stay abreast of healthcare industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep clients at the forefront of their industry.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in public relations, with a focus on healthcare communications.
  • Proven leadership experience in a PR agency, managing large accounts, and leading teams.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
