Providence is calling a Senior Financial Analyst, Accounting who will:
- Serve as a member of the service area team
- Sit on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance
- Analyze, understand and report on key financial and business trends for the organization
- Collect, research and organize financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses
- ApplyΒ advanced knowledge and skills
- Perform difficult and complex tasks
- Provides guidance, assistance and training to more junior-level analysts
- Support larger and/or more complex service area teams
- Use critical thinking skills dailyΒ
- Have knowledge of accrual based accounting

Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of analytical and business experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Masterβs degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or another closely related field of study
- 5+ years of medical group accounting / finance experience
2+ years of healthcare related experience
- MS Excel
- Certified Public AccountantΒ (CPA)
- Certified Management AccountantΒ (CMA)
