WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT?Β As a Senior UX Designer, you will be a key player in our UX Design team by collaborating closely with users to create and execute highly intuitive and innovative user-centric designs that help educators teach and students learn.

Strategy and Execution
- Collaborate with senior leaders to execute the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business and user experience goals.
- Identify market opportunities and trends to enhance the overall user experience and design quality across all products.
- Understand how the work fits into the larger product strategy and make enhancement suggestions to established systems and conventions.
Β
Design Development
- Apply advanced design principles and best practices to create visually appealing and cohesive experiences across our platform.
- Drive aesthetics and contribute to design projects from concept to completion. Ensure designs are delivered on time and within budget constraints.
- Manage and execute all stages of the design: inception through final implementation, including idea creation, workflow diagrams, and interaction design. Deliverables include wireframes, design comps, interactive prototypes, among others.
- Leverage visuals and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate complex concepts within the organization.
- Maintain an unwavering commitment to high-quality design standards across all products within your purview.

User-Centric Design
- Champion user-centric design; actively participate in the creative process collaborating with Product Management and cross-functional partners to propose innovative ideas and strategies.
- Lead customer interviews, user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing, providing expert insights to refine design solutions.
- Drive informed design decisions and improvements leveraging research, user feedback, and usability testing results.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to gather feedback, translating it into actionable design enhancements.
- Provide expertise on accessibility and support compliance testing and product remediation within the context of business objectives.
- Demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion in all engagements across the organization and in the design work delivered.

Technical Acumen
- Expertly collaborate with Product Management to review and analyze user data, providing valuable insights to support design decisions aimed at improving the overall user experience.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the underlying architecture and technologies of the product platform. Contribute to viable UX frameworks and product architectures.
Β
Team Leadership
- Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior designers in the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Lead internal initiatives that seek to improve UX design for our customer, develop processes that improve the UX Design team overall, and promote better communication and efficiency across the organization.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to conceptualize and translate requirements into workable product designs.

YOU MUST HAVEΒ (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, or a similar relevant field
- 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer
- Proven record of accomplishment of successfully contributing to impactful user interfaces
- Experience working in teams of product, visual, or content designers with demonstrated leadership traits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to articulate design concepts and ideas clearly and persuasively adjusting appropriately to the audience
- Portfolio displaying advanced skills in user experience, service, interaction, and product design.
- Ability to deliver strategic design initiatives with a focus on scalable systems and patterns.
- Understanding of market trends, user needs, and the competitive landscape in digital products.
- Experience working in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Figma (Miro, Lucid).

- Advanced degree
- Experience in SCRUM/Agile development methodologies
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

- Experience in Edtech, language learning, digital learning, or similar industry
