Role Overview

As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Maker, you will be responsible for leading the user experience and interface design aspects of our projects, ensuring the creation of intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences. From conducting user research to creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the overall user journey. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will ensure seamless implementation of designs. Mentoring and providing guidance to junior designers will be a key part of your role, fostering their growth and upholding the quality of their work. Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project cycle, you will contribute to decision-making, reusability, issue mitigation, and specification implementation. Your strong interpersonal skills will be essential in managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including client management. Staying updated with industry best practices and emerging design trends will inform your work, enabling you to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Must-Have

  • Proven experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design and creating exceptional user experiences
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma (must- have), Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering actionable insights
  • Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles  
  • Experience collaborating closely with development teams and familiarity with front- end development technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
