Job Summary






Artemis is seeking a Strategy and Innovation Director to join drive marketing and advertising strategy and foster collaboration for a large-scale Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract vehicle and call orders. This individual must be comfortable with supporting high visibility projects and possess an exceptional knowledge of marketing and advertising technology innovations.

The Strategy and Innovation Director role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in management consulting and business development pursuits. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.

This position is remote. However, travel for occasional in-person meetings may be required.









Primary Responsibilities






  • Guide comprehensive marketing strategies that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate understanding of marketing strategy overall across projects.
  • Coordinate strategy execution and development of assets across creative, video, media and project teams.
  • Understand ROI and recommend improvements across projects.
  • Generate innovative ideas that challenge conventional marketing and operational tactics.
  • Encourage creative and operational project teams to pursue disruptive and groundbreaking approaches.
  • Provide strategic leadership across the account to orchestrate solutions across design, digital, marketing and analytics.
  • Support account activities including business development, proposals and organic growth.
  • Drive brand strategy and positioning across marketing efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry and government trends and best practices in marketing strategy and execution.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by promoting the use of insights throughout the organization to uplevel strategy and brand communications.








Minimum Qualifications






  • 5-7 years of experience in a strategic role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Proven experience leading marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience working with federal clients and C-level executives.
  • Exceptional understanding of data-drive insights and customer segmentation.
  • Experience with multi-channel marketing including search, social, email, SEO, programmatic, direct mail, PR and influencer marketing.
  • Demonstrated background in understanding government systems and regulations.
  • Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to marketing trends and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong understanding of brand architecture, creative strategy, naming and messaging.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple contracts, supporting different clients simultaneously and managing teams.
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government.
  • Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
