Description

The SME Information Security Analyst will lead Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessments, authorization, and monitoring for systems, ensuring compliance with NIST and ICD 503 standards. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Federal cybersecurity policies, expertise in vulnerability and risk management, and the ability to perform assessments in cloud environments. The SME Information Security Analyst will leverage A&A platforms like eMASS, CSAM, and Xacta, along with skills in architecture, network, and infrastructure security, to maintain robust cybersecurity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Providing expert analysis and reporting on security vulnerabilities.
  • Developing effective cybersecurity strategies for Federal clients.

The SME Information Security Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, delivering clear, actionable insights to mitigate risk and enhance cybersecurity posture.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in security controls, RMF assessments, and cybersecurity within Federal environments.

Clearance:

  • Active Secret and must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with A&A platforms, including eMASS, CSAM, and Xacta.
  • Strong expertise in architecture, network, and infrastructure security, with a focus on cloud security.
  • Advanced skills in security methodologies and vulnerability analysis, particularly for diverse devices.
  • Next Gen security expertise.

Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive understanding of NIST, ICD 503, and Federal cybersecurity policies.
  • Experience with compliance controls and assessments in cloud computing environments.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Hybrid Agile, cloud.
  • DevSecOpsΒ 

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with agile/hybrid agile methodologies.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).

The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000.Β Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws.
