The Unit Secretary Monitor Technician provides secretarial support for the nursing unit and assists nurses in monitoring the cardiac rhythms of telemetry patients.
Mandatory requirements completed as required (initial and annual): re-orientation, HIPAA, Health/TB screening, competencies, fit testing, etc. Corporate Compliance—Maintains compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, other regulatory programs, and hospital policies and procedures. Serious about obligations and actions. Takes ownership of tasks and completes assignments. Meets mandatory requirements.
Minimum Experience: 1 year experience working in an Emergency Department, preferred.
Required License/Certifications: Current BCLS upon hire. ABM/MAB/CPI within 60 days of hire, annually thereafter.
