About the Opportunity






DMI is currently seeking an experienced UX / UI Designer for an agile product delivery team. The UX/UI Designer will design user experiences and user interfaces for an enterprise SaaS application with a deep understanding of the goals of customer and the business so that they can create experiences that delight users. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded UX / UI Designer who connects the dots between business needs, innovation and good design. You understand how to promote and use research to guide design decisions. You are skilled at driving a user experience from start-to-finish that delivers measurable results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experience in streamlining complicated enterprise software.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
  • Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experienced in customer-centered design, generating workflows & user journeys, and creating wireframes, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs
  • Knowledge of current UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Able to deliver seamless design to development handoff
  • Create conceptual designs, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Research best practice design patterns across multiple industries
  • Performs reviews of developed pages to ensure adherence to standards
  • Develop and document detailed user experience specifications for highly interactive interfaces. Deliverables include (but are not limited too) user stories, app maps, user flows, and annotated wireframes.
  • Communicate, specify and describe your designs to researchers, developers, testers, product managers, and senior leadership without ambiguity and within deadlines
  • Bring a user-centric design approach and attention to detail to all work you produce
  • Interact with client stakeholders to iterate and refine design
  • Ability and willingness to multi-task and work in an often fast-paced environment with deadlines








Qualifications






Education and Years of Experience:Β Β 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field with expertise in the design, production and presentation of interface designs that support the needs of the customer.
  • 4+ years of experience as a key, hands-on interaction/visual designer (UI/UX) working through the product development cycle of a successfully launched software application.
  • Strong skills in visual design preferred.
  • Experience creatively solving hard problems; solving innovative and complex products within deadlines
  • Proven experience driving complex design issues across multi-disciplinary groups such as Development, QA, Product Management

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:Β 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to get tasks done
  • Working knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Axure, and Adobe design tools
  • Comfort with utilizing one or more recognized Agile methodologies (Scrum, kanban, etc.) or toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Collaborative team player who excels in a team environment
