As a VP of Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in North America through managing, developing, and maintaining our sales operations. Your main responsibilities include developing strategic relationships with customers, maintaining accurate ongoing forecasts, developing plans to meet sales targets, and developing a high-performing sales team. Other responsibilities include:
- Define and own the GTM plan for sales including actionable tasks that continuously drive the team towards the sales objectives and quota.
- Establish short and long-term strategy for OEM and aftermarket sales.
- Work with leadership to establish and approve annual sales budget; develop individual annual sales compensation plans and manage team activities to budget.
- Position company as a strategic partner to the OEMs.
- Manage the sales forecast and pipeline, regularly report to leadership on forecast, sales outlook, and key opportunity updates.
- Manages the sales team to ensure sales targets and strategic objectives are met.
- Regularly reviews sales progress, manage the team toward goals and adjust strategy as needed to ensure target achievement.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering leadership to review sales forecast and production plans to ensure timely build and delivery.
- Work with product leads to review product development roadmaps and align priorities with customer requirements and emerging opportunities.
- Review and approve all travel and tradeshow participation in accordance with established budgets, ensures trade show staffing, messaging and demonstrations are aligned with objectives.
- Regularly travels to strategic customer and partner sites to enhance our position, to close sales, and to develop key executive relationships.

Work closely with the product marketing team to review specific marketing materials and campaigns.
Your Expertise
- 15+ years of senior sales leadership experience, working within the electrical components industry.
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering or business (or equivalent work experience), MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales within the construction space, including AWP, Material Handling, and Electric Vehicles/Machinery. Experience generating 8 figure sales deals within the AWP market is a plus.
- Proven success growing sales organizations, developing multi-year strategies, and delivering on key results.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a global sales team and drive growth through established sales channels.
- Strong financial acumen, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong background in the process valve industry, catering to EPC contractors, OEMs, and End-Users.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, and the ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
