- Five years of experience as a VM Systems Programmer.
- Three years of experience must be using the VM/ESA or z/VM operating system.
- One year of recent demonstrated experience implementing z/VM technologies similar in scope to the one described in this solicitation.
- One year of recent demonstrated experience in implementing IBM Enterprise/zEnterprise Linux.
- Demonstrated experience in configuring IBM or plug-compatible attached hardware equipment for an IBM Enterprise/zEnterprise system.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting technical IT/telecommunication information to managers with little technical subject knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience performing z/VM and Linux software conversions, as well as release level upgrades. These upgrades are done using a new distribution of the system or using VMSES/E to upgrade a component.
- Recent experience in leading technically complex systems software/integration projects involving systems similar to one cited in this solicitation.
- Recent experience in implementing and maintaining virtual DASD volumes which map to real DASD architectures.
- Recent experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining operating system or subsystem exits in IBM assembler.
- Recent experience in performing problem determination and resolution using second level z/VM guest systems.
- Recent demonstrated experience in defining I/O configurations for z/VM guests.
- Recent demonstrated experience in implementing and testing a disaster recovery plan.
- Recent demonstrated experience in evaluating and implementing the facilities and options of RACF for VM.
