WHAT YOU’LL DO

As the Change Management Manager, you will be a member of AVI-SPL’s Business Transformation team.Β  You will manage a team of Change Management Leads that are responsible for developing and implementing initiative based change management strategies and plans that increase the velocity of change, minimize resistance, and maximize employee adoption and productivity.

This role ensures that organizational projects and initiatives meet their objectives by increasing employee engagement, readiness, and acceptance of change. The Change Management Manager will work closely with project teams, senior leadership, marketing, and key stakeholders to drive successful transformation initiatives across the organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that change management strategies are holistic and consistent across our global organization.Β

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: As the Change Management Manger, you will provide daily management, thought leadership and guidance to AVI-SPL’s Change Management Leads.
  • Advocacy for Change:Β  Actively support and promote the need for change and articulate the benefits and positive outcomes of the change to create enthusiasm and gain support within the organization.Β 
  • Develop Change Management Strategies: Design comprehensive change management strategies tailored to specific projects and initiatives, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and readiness plans.
  • Communications: Assist in the development and execution of communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged. Ensure that messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with the organization's objectives.Β  Communicate the vision, goals and progress of the initiative. Foster an environment of open feedback, listening to and addressing concerns.
  • Training & Development Programs: Identify training needs and create training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge required to adopt changes effectively.Β  Assist in design and facilitation of training programs to prepare users for the change
  • Conduct Impact Assessments: Assess the impact of changes on employees, processes, and systems. Develop mitigation plans to address potential risks and resistance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their involvement and buy-in throughout the change process.Β  Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees and regional/office leaders, to act as a liaison between change leadership and employees.
  • Monitor and Measure Effectiveness: Establish metrics to monitor the effectiveness of change management efforts. Gather feedback, track progress, and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Support Project Teams: Work closely with project managers and teams to integrate change management activities into project plans. Provide guidance and support to ensure that change initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Champion Change Initiatives: Act as a change agent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Encourage and support employees to embrace new ways of working.Β  Demonstrate desired behaviors and values associated with the change.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Haves:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of employee management experience
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in change management, project management, organizational development, or related roles. Experience in the technology or AV integration industry is preferred.

Nice-To-Haves:

  • Certifications: Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct impact assessments and measure change effectiveness.
    • Strong emotional intelligence behaviors to understand and empathize with emotional impact of change.Β 
    • Help celebrate success throughout the life cycle of change initiatives
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and change management software/tools.
