β’ Collaborate with clients to understand their infrastructure, security requirements, and operational goals, translating these into secure architectural designs.
β’ Design and implement Zero Trust strategies and architectures tailored to customer needs.
β’ Conduct Zero Trust assessments to evaluate security posture and recommend improvements.
β’ Lead the planning and implementation of cybersecurity infrastructures, including basic routing and switching, next generation firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, advanced threat detection, and network access control.
β’ Serve as a source of escalation for additional implementation personnel, ensuring successful project delivery.
β’ Stay updated on emerging data security technologies and industry trends, incorporating innovative solutions into CyKor service offerings.
β’ Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cybersecurity architectures, designs, policies and configurations.
β’ Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering knowledge-sharing across the organization.
β’ Support pre-sales engineers and account teams to ensure alignment with customer business and security objectives.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. (Preferred)
β’ Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in an architectural role.
β’ Basic understanding of network technologies (TCP/IP, WAN/LAN) and security principles (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, encryption, threat modeling, etc.)
β’ Experience designing and implementing security solutions for complex network environments.
β’ Understanding of Zero Trust principles and the ability to assess and develop Zero Trust frameworks.
β’ Hands on experience with SIEM and/or SOAR platforms, such as Splunk or Elastic, is highly preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Federal Civilian and DoD environments is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Security Clearance is preferred.
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and stakeholders.
β’ Certifications preferred: Β CCNA/CCNP Security, CISSP, ZCCP, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, Elastic Certified Engineers, and Cloud Security Professional (AWS, Azure, Google).
β’ Open to travel as required (15-25% projected).
