We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer, with a focus on RMF and DoD compliance, to join our team remotely. In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure cybersecurity measures are seamlessly integrated into system architecture.
  • Leverage expertise in containerization and DevSecOps pipelines to enhance system security.
  • Perform technical hardening of systems and create comprehensive documentation and technical diagrams.
  • Execute cybersecurity hardening tasks, including:
    • Patching and updating applications, operating systems, firmware, and antivirus software.
    • Applying Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs) on operating systems, firmware, group policies, domains, networks, and applications to meet secure configuration standards.
  • Utilize Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tools to assess compliance with STIG/SRG standards and ensure vulnerability compliance.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments using a vulnerability assessment tool while ensuring compatibility with the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including implementation plans, security controls, system diagrams, and RMF-related artifacts.
