Ankura’s Cybersecurity Practice offers a full-service suite of information security and privacy solutions for clients, regardless of industry or size. We provide proactive preparedness, incident response, cyber resilience, and managed advisory services customized to clients’ requirements. The Cyber team is composed of leaders from the intelligence community, including former FBI and CIA personnel, private security firms, and pioneering technology companies. Our experts assess cyber risk and readiness, test and harden clients’ infrastructure, and respond instantly and decisively when threats arise. We regularly advise boards of directors, members of the C-suite, general counsel, outside counsel, IT leaders, and other stakeholders at all stages of any cyber incident.

Role OverviewΒ 

Ankura is seeking a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) Specialist to join our Cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in both Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management and will have a strong understanding of the related principles and hands-on experience with varied technology. This role will lead IAM/PAM projects for our Clients.

This role is Remote, located in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to enhance IAM and PAM capabilities, including evaluating and implementing new technologies and tools.

  • Lead strategy and assessment initiatives to understand current state and develop future plans to enhance IAM and PAM processes and technologies.

  • Design, implement, and manage IAM and PAM solutions to support the organization's security framework and compliance requirements.

  • Develop and enforce IAM and PAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure secure and consistent identity and privileged access management.

  • Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to integrate IAM and PAM solutions with existing systems and applications.

  • Conduct regular access reviews and audits for both standard and privileged accounts to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

  • Provide expertise and guidance on IAM and PAM best practices to internal teams, enhancing organizational security posture.

  • Train and mentor junior team members in IAM and PAM practices, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, threats, and technologies in IAM and PAM to ensure the organization is protected against emerging risks.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Relevant certifications related to specific technology implementations

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Cyber Security/MSIS or equivalent work experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management or related cybersecurity roles.

  • Strong understanding of IAM and PAM principles, technologies, and best practices.

  • Experience with IAM technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, MFA, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and IAM tools.

  • Experience with PAM solutions such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to IAM and PAM, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the said markets and considers a broad range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.Β  The range does not include additional benefits outside of salary. At Ankura, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is between $85,000 to $200,000; this range is not a promise of a particular wage.
