This Role:

This is an engineering role on our special projects team.  This person is responsible for the development of systems to support a new product that is being launched.  In this role you will bring extensive professional experience in leading mobile development, with proficiency in Fullstack NodeJS development, including Backend(Express/Fastify), Frontend(React, and other similar technologies), PostgreSQL and more! 

 In this role, you will bring extensive professional experience in leading, planning, and executing ideas with expert proficiency using the best tools available.

What You'll Do:

• Work with a small team building and launching a new product into market
• You will build a compelling and easy to maintain codebases with eye toward scalability
• Work with clients and internal teams to scope and estimate new features
• Maintain high standards for code quality and development processes such as CI/CD
• Serve as a technical resource to product owners
• Assist in scoping and development of a variety of features
• Manage release and tech debt across multiple projects

What You'll Need:

• NodeJS ( or Similar)
• Experience with Typescript/Javascript (or Similar)
• Experience with Frontend Technologies like React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Etc
  • We use React
• Experience with Relational databases
• Testing(Unit/Integration)
• Version control (Git/Github/Bitbucket/etc)
• Agile Methodology
• Workload Management tools (JIRA)
• GCP or other cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure)
• The ability to get your hands dirty in the code, and take ownership of solutions.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with highly available systems, and best practices for distributed computing.
• Kubernetes, Docker, and general containerized workflow experience
• Tailwind CSS, or familiarity with the concepts
• Zod and other validation best practices
• Authentication and security patterns
• Familiarity with Figma and iterative design patterns
• Experience with TanStack Query(React Query), SWR or similar data fetching patterns
• Caching patterns
• Familiarity with Global state management, i.e. Redux(RTK/RTK Query), Context/Reducer, Zustand, etc
• Familiarity with Swift/Swift UI
• Kotlin/Jetpack Compose
• React Native
• NextJS and React Server components
• Experience with payment systems
• eCommerce experience
• AI Engineering tools like Cursor, Codium, Co-Pilot

Interview Process:

If you’re everything we are looking for, you will be invited to a 30-minute phone interview where a team member will dive a little deeper into your experience but also give you a little more info on what it’s like to work with us. If you pass this phone interview, you will proceed to the next set of interviews, which will include:

• Panel interview with future team members
• Short final interview with the CEO and COO
