WHY WE’RE LOOKING: 

We are busy and we are looking to add additional members to our Implementation team to support our growth.  We are looking for an Implementation Specialist with deep dealership experience implementing software solutions to help our dealers implement new solutions.  Optimally, this person has both dealership and process improvement experience.  We are looking for someone that has a background in General Operations including Accounting, Payroll, Document Management, Payments, and other Accounting Solutions. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Hold kickoff and status meeting(s) with dealership customers following the sale to review the implementation plan, to set good expectations for the project, access and communicate the status of the implementation, and communicate update(s) to the broader team both internally and externally 

  • Gather customer requirements and information to tailor the solution to the customer’s business needs to optimize outcomes leveraging best practices 

  • Train the customer on the setup and utilization of DealerBuilt solutions 

  • Manage a project plan for each customer, detailing the tasks that need to be completed for the timely implementation of solutions 

  • Communicate with customers throughout the implementation to ensure user, stakeholder, and decision maker engagement and support 

  • Work cross-functionally with the implementation team to ensure all key deliverables and project milestones are achieved 

  • Continually improve the implementation process by uncovering, documenting, and submitting best practices, recommendations, customer feedback with a focus on both quality and efficiency of implementation 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

  • 3+ years of automotive software implementation or dealership utilization experience, representing a similar portfolio with proven results of success 

  • Management of a department at a dealership is a plus 

  • Proven experience as an implementation specialist leading meetings, establishing and managing plans, configuring software, training users, and driving engagement 

  • Must be able to establish and maintain a strong business relationship with customer stakeholders and decision makers 

  • Ability to manage customer change and adoption during the implementation cycle 

  • A solid understanding of a customer’s key business drivers 

  • Project management style focus to ensure customers achieve their desired business results. 

  • A powerful desire to solve challenges and win 

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and internal tools (Teams, Excel, PPT, Word, etc.) skills  

  • Inside/Outside role with the ability to travel and be in the field 60%+ of your time working with customers with a significant portion of those days standing 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in career experience
