Tipping Point Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and creative professional for a Junior Courseware Developer Contractor position. The Junior Courseware Developer assists experienced Courseware Developers, subject matter experts, graphic artists and multimedia developers to design cutting edge training solutions supporting classroom and online learning environments for the company’s clients.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist authoring learning content in Adobe Captivate, Animate and/or Articulate Storyline by using course templates and following all development standards for color scheme, graphic design and functionality
- Assist with integrating premium film content into courseware interactions based on guidance and direction from experienced developers
- Makes edits and adjustments to interaction templates based on guidance and direction from experienced developers
- Assists the development team with conceptual design of new interactions
- Develops further understanding of eLearning development principles through hands by working under guidance of experience developers
- Adheres to accepted Style Guide practices and builds proficiency through mentorship from experienced developers
- Builds knowledge of eLearning industry and technologies through hands on application

Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Associate degree in graphic design, multimedia, video production or related field of study
- Knowledge and basic experience with rapid eLearning authoring tools such as: Adobe Captivate, Animate, Articulate Storyline, and/or SCORM compliant authoring tools
- Exposure to and basic knowledge of Section 508 compliant and SCORM 2004 conformant web-based solutions
- Understanding of developing assets and lessons
- Knowledge of Learning Management System workflows
- Understanding of developing simulations using Articulate Storyline or other authoring tools

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
Desired Experience:
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, or JavaScript.

Knowledge or basic experience with graphic media design tools such as: Photoshop and Illustration
